    I am 5'9, 180-185...i am trying to put on muscle...its hard for me to keep weight on, my metabolism is fairly rapid

    How many calories are you eating?
    What is your macro breakdown of protein/carbs/fat?
    Add 2 bagels with peanut butter, banana, honey
    2 glasses of milk

    eat more whole eggs, 90/10 beef, pasta, olive oil (as a topping on stirfrys), rice, trail mix, granola

    i bet your calories will help you greatly.

    You've been training for three weeks, of course you look the same. Post again in a year.
    2013 Gym PRs
    Squat = 140kg ...... Deadlift = 180kg ...... Bench = 95kg
    2014 Gym PRs
    Squat = 162.5kg ...... Deadlift = 192.5kg ...... Bench = 105kg
    2015 Gym PRs
    Squat = 170kg ... Deadlift = No improvement ... Bench = No Improvement

    Maybe not a year but 3 weeks is not much. I haven't changed much in 3 months, not even in a year either. Starting to wonder if I'm getting anywhere at all. But it looks like you could lean up or gain weight and either way would work. Some people though definitely could do with a solid cut before trying to add weight.

    Man, that V-Taper you have going on is awesome! Honestly, I think you'd look pretty great at sub-10% BF with the amount of muscle you have right now. I'd cut down and see you how you like that before adding more weight.
