    Default changing room/shower etiquette

I have an unusual problem. I have been working out for 2 1/2 years now (since I turned 30), and started going to the gym regularly since last October. Here is the problem - I am a lesbian. As uncomfortable as my presence makes others, you can imagine how being in a room with a dozen attractive women affects me. Does anyone have any tips (other than always going home to change and shower - not always an option) to help avoid embarrassing situations in the gym?

Well, if it's not a joke...just keep your eyes down and don't ogle, get in, showered, changed and outta there.

Just like with seeing scantily clad women in the gym, don't creepingly stare and you will likely avoid any embarrassing moments.

The problem is many of the women feel good about their bodies right after their workout (and I can't blame them) and want to show off/talk about their bodies. More than twice I've been asked by women I don't know to give my opinion on how their butt is firming up while they are completely naked.

It is times like that I am tempted to tell them right then and there that I'm a lesbian, just to see the reaction.

Hahaha, you could do that just to watch their faces change obviously, that could then put you in a strange predicament as well, so may not be the best idea even if it would be funny as hell to see.

There are some weird people about, can't they decide for themselves how their butts are firming up or not, as the case may be; they're usually pretty on the ball when it comes to areas of the body they can't stand and want to change. They may in fact just be doing it to wind you up.

You need a great retort but I can't think of one offhand.

    Default changing room/shower etiquette

Your mind is focused more about what others think of you because of how you think of yourself, reality could be different than your perception, so focus on the reason your going to the gym in the first place and accept that your mind wonders but tangibly if nobody is complaining and your focused as to why your there then you already have the answer

I don't have enough blood in my brain after reading some of this to come up with an intelligent response.

    Just sayin...
Donít chase the 1%, there is no magic training routine or diet thatís going to provide any measurable results over the basic principles for getting huge and strong: Train heavy, eat and sleep more.
