    Default 5x5 New Program Help?

    Hello,

    I am fairly new and would like to find a 5x5 type of program. Something like this.
    5,5 132LBS.
    Bench: 110LBS
    Squat: 105LBS
    Deadlift: 110LBS
    Overhead: 45LBS (Bar) I do not really like this on my shoulders but need to learn it.

    I guess this is sort of like the 5/3/1 program setup but maybe with stronglifts progression.
    Any advice or if anyone knows of a program that is set up like this template. I just do not like the idea of strong lifts. (Good program) But too much squatting for me.

    Monday,
    Bench Press
    Accessory

    Tuesday
    Squat
    Accessory

    Thursday
    Deadlift
    Accessory

    Friday
    Overhead Press
    Accessory

    You would be better off starting out with something like starting strength or stronglifts. Doing one lift every 7 days isn't optimal as a beginner. If you're that against squatting 3 times per week, you could try a full body a/b split, it would still be better, something like below:

    workout a:
    deadlift 5x5
    weighted chin-ups 5x5
    OHP 5x5

    workout b:
    squat 5x5
    bench 5x5
    barbell rows 5x5

    week 1: mon workout a, wed workout b, fri workout a
    week 2: mon workout b, wed workout a, fri workout b
    etc
    - Made awesome, not perfect!

    Starting Strength or Madcow 5x5 would be your best options OP
