    Default 3 weeks cut

    Is this good progress for 3 weeks? Been cutting for about 6 weeks now and have lost 7lbs total. Also, when do you typically stop a cut and focus on building muscle again? Still don't feel like I am where I want to be but I know the more muscle I build the easier the diet will be.

    You focus on switching goals when you feel comfortable with your physique and your cutting progress.
    While you have made great progress on the scale (7lbs in 6 weeks) keep going if you feel like you can lose more weight and still maintain your strength.

    I would personally stop cutting when:
    strength starts to drop
    a big swing in mood/energy occurs
    Problems with Sleeping
    Problems with Hormone Levels

    ^^ These can occur mostly to people who compete and get to very lean levels of bodyfat

    3 weeks is hard to see any real progress unless your BF % is low, like around 15% for men and around 20% for women, but looking good keep it up.
