    Default Looking for a good push/pull/legs split

    Hi guys,

    I'm looking for a good push/pull/legs split. Anyone got any recommendations? Been doing a 6 day split for the last few months and looking to bring down my time in the gym to accommodate more running. (looking to run 2 to 3 times a week)

    Use your imagination. Pick the exercises that appeal most.

    An example may be:

    Push

    Overhead press variant
    Chest press variant (decline, flat, 15 degree incline, 30 degree incline)
    Dip variant (parallel bar, bench)
    Thruster

    Pull

    Horizontal row variant
    Vertical row variant
    Deadlift variant
    Snatch

    Leg

    Squat variant
    Lunge variant
    Step-up
    Box jump

    But really, experiment - that's the fun of training!

    Monday: Push (Chest, Shoulders, Triceps)
    Tuesday: off
    Wednesday: Pull (Back, Biceps)
    Thursday: off
    Friday: Legs (Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, Abs)
    Saturday: off
    Sunday: off
