    Exclamation Need help building muscle

    Hi everyone,
I have currently been working out and trying to build muscle for 2 months,
I'm 15, weigh 72 Kg, around 6 foot in height
I would class myself as fairly skinny, i play football twice a week, and occasionally go to my running club
my workout regime is that i work out 4 days, then rest 3 days, it wont let me post the link to the regime so i dont know how i can explain it

I have not really gained any muscle, and was hoping for some tips off of people who have a lot of experince maybe even a better training regime, many thanks

I suspect your calorie intake is not high enough for you to build muscle, given the amount of exercise you currently partake in, my advice would be to use "Myfitnesspal" (app or website) to calculate your calorie intake at the moment, and use http://www.primusweb.com/cgi-bin/fpc/actcalc.pl to calculate calorie expenditure through your exercise/activities. In order to build muscle you have to eat in a slight calorie excess over and above what your body needs at rest and activities

For calories see my post above, for a workout routine, take a look in the workouts section at the top of the page, plenty to choose from
