    Default Working out for soccer/football

    Hi guys

I'm looking to get stronger and gain some mass as I'm quite a skinny guy although I'm tall. I don't want to get pushed off the ball easily, at the moment I'm doing bodyweight exercises and stuff with dumbbells at home. Will this help me at all? I don't have the money for a gym membership right now but maybe in the future. Also how many times a week should I be lifting and what muscles each day. I like ronaldos physique so that's what I'm aiming for.

Also what foods would you recommend to add size without putting on too much fat which will make me sluggish, at the moment my diet is not great I just really eat whatever because I want to gain some weight but I try to include lots of oatmeal, pasta, protein shakes and things like that to fuel my football training and workouts.

    Thanks

Maintaining flexibility will be key if you want to stay athletic for soccer while tacking on mass and building muscle
