Default Looking for some good advice

    Hey,
I am somewhat new to lifting been around it for awhile because of wrestling and this off season i plan to get big. I have a 4 day split work out that i kinda formed from reading your site which has been so helpful.

    Monday:
    Chest/biceps
    Tuesday
    legs
    Wednesday
    rest/cardio
    Thursday
    back/shoulders
    Friday
    forearms/triceps

I was just wondering if this is a good split i am welcome to constructive criticism and advice.
Also i am taking a multivitamin that calls for you to use it twice a day and i was wondering what times to take the vitamin
    thanks for the help!!

I am also a wrestler and my season just finished! I usualy dominate using my strenght in matches :P lol

About your workout, if i was you I would change the muscles you workout together. For example Chest and tri's go together and so do back and biceps. But when it comes to wrestling I would suggest focusing most of your strenght workouts on your back muscles. Because they are most useful to wrestling.

I hope this helped!! good luck!

    Hi welcome to the forum..

The triceps are used with shoulder training on thursday so you may not get a good workout with the tricep training on friday.

A good split is Mon: shoulders/Tri, Tues: back, Thurs: Chest/Bi's, Fri: legs

By the way, since I am a wrestler I constanly work on my back the most. Do i have to take more time off than one day if i have a hard workout, like chest. Or does the rule not follow for your back???

Is your back somehow different than the other muscles in your body? No. Anything that applies to your other muscles will apply for your back.
