    Default Bulk 2016 Starting Point

Starting my bulking season today and running it until The last week of April. This will be my second bulk to do, the first was last year spanning the same timeline give or take a few weeks. Was able to go from 165 lbs at 6'3" to 182 lbs. pretty darn lean. This year I am starting around 175 lbs and hope to see similar growth. Shooting for 6-8 lbs lean mass gain at the very least. So decided to keep track of it on here to try to keep myself accountable, especially when it comes to measuring progress. I'll also add my diet below as well as routine either tonight or this weekend.

    Bulk 2015/2016 Starting physique

    Bulk 2015/2016 Ending physique

    Bulk 2016/2017 Starting physique

Next couple weeks will be close monitoring on weight and I'll throw a pic up after a while. Will do my best to keep the photos in as close to the same conditions as I can.

Thanks! I've gotten off track last two months very badly because me and my wife just had our first child. Can't wait to get back to the grind! I appreciate the encouragement my friend!

Good luck with the bulk and kids! It's rough, but I'm sure you can make it happen.

I'm 6'4", so I know the difficulties of moving weight long distances. If you're looking to increase calf size, I've had really good luck lately with SSB Yoke bar squats. Added about 1/2" over the past 6 weeks.

Nice! Yeah calves are always important. I don't have the worst insertions so I'm optimistic I can improve them quite a bit. For now when I return to the gym my biggest focus will be on traps, shoulders, and legs. Quads are okay but my hams and calves are not so great and that was from poor training technique for a long time.

Looks great! Definitely have a solid foundation. Maybe cut a little bit more and you'll be spot on!

Thanks! At that point I wasn't ready for a cut yet still trying to push up in weight. But now I have to start all over. Had a kid and had to take a break for 8 months so I've lost a lot of weight
