    Default Fat burning help

    Im 17 years old and i want lose fat. Im ex rower and i stoped rowing so i gained extra fat. I want also build muscles along. Can someone help?

    Do some cardio to drop your body fat. HIIT exercises did the trick well for me. Do some lifting too - high rep strength training effectively burns fat as well without shrinking down your muscles compared to when you are mainly focused on cardio to drop body fat. Additionally, it will help in building more muscles in your body.

    You won't build muscle and lose fat at the same time
    At 17 pick a goal your age it's easiest to build size so take advantage of it

    Losing fat requires a caloric deficit
    Gaining muscle requires a caloric surplus

    You need to focus on your nutrition and setting your calories up to dictate your goal
