    Default Still going STRONG!,!,

    Well my first post! I came on the site to see if anyone else my age ish!! Is doin good weights .I lifted on deadlift last night 475lb x3reps did a total of 10sets of 3 working up .. plus sumo, stiff leg, leg press, finish with leg curl -1set of 100 reps. How's that compare to others ?? Would like your feedback,cheers

    Had a great workout,, top half b,b style. All weights went up and progress was good.. on track for a 500 lb deadlift by xmas..

    Hi Marty, I guess your age is around 60? If so you're lifting some impressive weight! A 475 lbs (215 kg) deadlift is something to be proud of! Why don't you start a workout log on the Member Training Journal Forum. That way you can compare other members' lifts. I'm 63 years old, have been lifting fairly regularly for about 9 years and my deadlift is nowhere near yours. I'm deadlifting 120 kg (265 lbs) at the moment.

    63 eh ,I'm 60 in 3 weeks.. been training 8 years and hope for awhile yet��.. might do a journal �� if it would be of interest ��

    That sounds like a really good idea! I am in my 50's and started training again about 4-5 years ago. It could prove a good resource for others like myself. I used to remember sets, weights and from my workouts and I am going to start a journal myself. ...470 lbs .. is some serious weight.. way to go! I am pushing 225 lbs on the Bench, Squatting 300 lb and Dead lifting 315 lbs.

    I am planning on hitting 250 on the bench, 350 squat and a 375 deadlift by the first day of summer! Keep pushing boys!!
