    Wink Advice Needed: Regarding how to plan my workout

    Hi,

    I have been working out for last 2 months and trying to lose weight. I used to weigh 84kg before my workout and now have lost around 9 kgs weigh 75.4kgs. My target weight is around 72 Kgs. I did a lot of cardio and HIIT for the last two months and the results are pretty satisfactory. Im 5.7.

    Now I want to tone my body without bulking up too much. So I started weight training and now i have been advised to take protein shakes to meet my diet needs. My question is how do i approach this, I still want to hit my target weight but i still want to bulk/tone a little.

    What should be my diet plan and workout plan??

    great results with your weight loss.
    i'd avoid the shakes, just eat as you've been.
    your goal with weight training should be to build up to good intensity. do not be concerned with bulk or size changes.
    focus on improving your intensity & consistancy

    Eat real food. Scale back the cardio. Attack the weights.

    You have done real well! Keep it Up!! Plugeye is right about the intensity and consistency. Try making some minor changes to your diet,like upping the protein some. Keep track of the results to see if it is helping you reach your goals. If it is working great, if not you can step back to your current diet and try a different approach. A lot of this is trial and error to determine what works best for you.

    Never stop trying..never stop learning.
