Default 3x5 Starting strength from marc rippetoe plus additional excersises??

Hello, I am doing the 3x5 starting strength program from marc rippetoe. When I am starting the weights are pretty light, is it ok to do some extra excersises, for more gains? For example, 3x5 Bench barbell feels really easy, in the beginning 80% of the weight I could actually use for 3x5. Would it be possible to do for example bench with dumbbell in addition?

Even with heavy weight until failure? How is it later in the program, when I come nearer to weights which are for me really heavy, still some additional excersises for same muscel group is ok? Or pullups: I am doing them also for 3x5 without additional weight (just started). How is it if I do the repetitions artificially heavier, for example pulling up really high (kind of full range of motion pullups)?
Or, if I do deadlift, also in the beginning, when the weigth is lieght, could I do in addition leg press, even heavy leg press? Thanks

I'm not a purist, so go ahead. But it won't be the programme as such. At some point you will need to train smarter, rather than add more work. Also, as the weight gets heavy, you will also have warm up sets too.
