Default Can't eat 3,000 Calories a day to build mass

i Literally can't eat 3,000+ calories a day, if i did that'd be my whole weeks groceries, i work in Security and work a weird schedule, Friday - Sunday 3pm-11pm & Monday - Tuesday 11pm - 7am. I keep wanting to get bigger but can't eat enough calories without breaking my bank and eating all the food i buy every week, i can't sit for a whole day and eat crap either. I could honestly blame my **** poor routine as well, i use only dumbbells and only do 2 exercises: isolated dumbbell curls and overhead dumbbell presses, my excuse is i'm too scared of looking weak or foolish to use the barbell etc. for example; on just the incline bench, trying to lay it flat in front of everyone, i thought the yellow knob was the thing you pull, it wouldn't budge so i twisted it instead thinking that was it and the ****in' thing came OFF! lol so i reattached it and scurried to the dumbbells (ol' tried and true) but i'm ****ing stuck i need help, i want the gains but can't for the life of me figure out how to use the stuff to get there. No one is ever around to ask, the receptionist always tells me the trainers are busy etc.

There are instructional videos on literally every single type of exercise by category on this web site. Watch the videos, mimmick the guy in the video at home before actually going to the gym and you'll have it figured out in no time. It's just a bar.

Ask some of the people that workout at your gym to help you out, watch videos, read books on it. Donít worry about not knowing how to use the stuff right away because everyone started like that, just seek out some help and Iím sure youíll get it! When I started I learned everything from YouTube videos and trying it myself until it felt right, also I asked more seasoned lifters to check my form and give me feedback or videotape me so I could do it myself.

here are several smaller details that go into planning out a complete muscle building diet, but your total daily calorie intake is the ultimate bottom line. Consume fewer calories than you burn, and you’ll lose weight. Consume the same number of calories that you burn, and you’ll maintain your weight. Consume more calories than you burn, and you’ll gain weight. If you’re looking to gain quality muscle size but are having trouble consuming enough calories because you simply feel full all the time, here are 3 quick tips:
    1. Optimize Your Meal Frequency
    2. Include Some Calorie-Dense Food Items In Your Meal Plan
    3. Make Use Of Shakes/Smoothies.

There are a lot of videos/resources online about cheap calories. You are correct in your assumption if you are eating out with every meal. Otherwise you can eat very reasonably even on a bulking diet (rice, tuna, oats, milk, etc.--the cheap but wholesome diet staples).
