Default Anyone have success with 3 days a week workout routines?

    Hi,
I am 5"11, 139 lbs guy looking to put on muscle mass. Does anyone here who is or was skinny, have decent success with 3 days a week routines to build muscle? And which routine would be a good start?

Moreover, which one would be more suitable, split routines or full body routine?

    Hi welcome to the forum

Any routine can be performed over three to five days per week, both split and full body routines work, but the best way to find out is to give different routines a try to see how your own body responds to that type of routine.

There are plenty of routines in the "Workouts" section at the top of the page.

Here is one such one that may benefit you?

I’m going to assume you’re a beginner. If your a beginner, there is no reason 3 days a week, full body training shouldn’t work for you. Do splits when you’re more advanced. Also, you need to eat big to get big. REMEMBER TO GET IN ENOUGH CALORIES TO BUILD MUSCLE.

i was 120-125lbs when i started working out and for me, my body responded best to training as often as possible being 4-6 times a week and of course stuffing your face. i know we suffer from skinny people problems but if you actually dedicate a month or two straight to hardcore gaining, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to put on 10lbs in those two months
