    Red face Is gym exercise better for fitness than running?

    Physical activity in any form is good be it walking, running or hitting the gym. It depends on your preference choose what is comfortable to your lifestyle and your body.

    Yes, I agree with you that any physical activity is good for health like running or gym exercise. But I like running very much because it has many benefits like it makes you happier, helps you get skinnier and also reduces your risk of cancer etc.

    You can not compare both. Because both play their own role. I often do running for my overall body fitness, but gym is specifically for building and strengthening muscles.

    Each exercise you discussed, depends upon a person's fitness goals. A good fitness can not be achieved just by walking a mile. There must be some exercises to be done for achieving good fitness and health.

    I would run for endurance and weight loss, and gym workout for muscle building

    yes i also agree that any physical exercises is good for health its all up to you what comfortable for your body
