    Default My beggining

Hi guys and girls, just starting out on the forum, its a new year and for the first time in my life ive decided to proactively tackle my new years resolution, i've decided that considering im 30 now and never had abs that maybe i should try to do something about that..... im 6"3 120 kg and want to shave my weight down by 20 kgs in the next 6 months, once im at 100kg (220pounds) i wanna start bulking up, any less than 100 kgs and i look kinda sickly given my height, if anybody knows of a natural way to achieve this (not interested in diet pills and other crap like that) please feel free to enlighten me. Im not expecting to take out the arnold classic in 12 months or anything stupid like that but i feel that a transformation is definately needed and i hope that this is the right community to help me acheive this goal..... hoping to hear from you soon, peace

    Hi Bigspoon186!

Thanks for your post. As a strength and fitness coach, I'll do my best to answer your questions. Here are two points to consider:

    1) Fat loss is simple. All that's needed is a consistent calorie deficit. Simply stated, that means eating less than you burn. You don't just want to lose fat though – you also want to build and maintain muscle.

    2) Whether you're in a "bulking" or "cutting" phase (not my favourite terms), you should be training the same way – by lifting heavy weights. Not sure how much training you've done,

    Hope this helps!

I would advise that you get a diet plan that will complement your exercise routine
