    Red face Office exercise

    Hi! I am new here.

I just would like to take this time to ask the community about some workout tips while inside the office. I work like 9 hours a day and 5 days a week. I would also like to know if there are new tech or tips to keep me healthy while working? I want to focus more on my health and fitness this year.

Thank you! I will appreciate all your help/tips and looking forward to all your tips and knowledge.

    Hi, welcome to the forum

Do you have a gym nearby or one that you can go to when you finish work. Do you follow a decent eating plan ?

    Hi Doug,

I usually work 50+ hours a week sitting at a desk, no "formal" exercise/physical activity, and I don't have a diet plan. What can you suggest for starters like me?

    Thanks so much!

Everybody is well aware that sitting all day at the desk is not a healthy way to live for sure, but many of us have to do it anyway. Whether it’s sitting all day, staring at a computer screen throughout, or messing up your wrists and fingers at a keyboard, office work is a lot more dangerous than you’d ever think. All that inactivity leads to some serious problems in the long term. Consider the slide below for all the office exercises you can perform at your desk only.
Creating a schedule to stand up and exercise a little might seem insane, but it’s pretty clear that this is the only alternative that will help. You’re doing your best to set aside time for physical activity, but finding time to exercise is a challenge itself. Why not work out while you work? Get off your seat and make physical activity.

Since exercising just for a couple of minutes in the workplace is not enough to keep you healthy and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. You may take part in any physical activity during your leisure time in your office, taking into account your own physical condition. Once you get into the habit of exercising for 20-30 minutes a day, you can remain healthy and fit with an abundance of energy to meet the never-ending challenges at work. DO these exercises at your workplace and share your experience…!
