Default ulnar nerve entrapment query re: weights

Hi, after a gap of 5 or 6 years (!) due to various issues, have restarted weights (Doug's home dumbbell routine) and into week 5 now.

Also play squash regularly (2 x week), and on/off for short periods of time have been troubled with tingling and discomfort 4th/5th fingers right hand (dominant).

Seems to be getting worse and more constant though in last two weeks (plus some shoulder pain on that side) and concerned that weights are exacerbating it especially sitting overhead press etc.

Should I stop these and if so for how long? Are there any substitutes that might place less strain on elbows/shoulders?

BTW age 53, so no spring chicken.

    Thanks.

Have you considered a possible medical condition, or maybe a visit to a sports physiotherapist
