    Default Critique my physique

Hello all I am 18 years old 5'11" 170 lbs and have been training for 2-3 years but wasn't really serious for my first year. ANY and all advice and critiquing would be helpful so I know what's lagging and what I'm doing right. Also I was wondering how long I should keep bulking for and what you think my body fat is. Thanks in advance.

Critiquing a physique is always a subjective matter, so keep that in mind when reading my comments.

I can see you have been working out, which is always a great sign. Judging body fat percentages through images is a hopeless endeavor because two people with roughly the same physiques can have wastly different body fat percentages because of individual fat storing patterns. I would assume somewhere between 13 - 16 % in your case. It doesn't really matter, because it's what you see in the mirror and that you are happy that really matters. Who cares if you are 10 or 15 % if you look great and feel great?

As for lagging body parts, I would focus hard on bringing up the back, specifically the lats. You could also focus on your chest some more to round out your physique. Other than that, just keep pushing and bulk slowly for as long as you feel comfortable. You will gain some extra fat, but just make sure it's 70 % muscle mass and you can cut the fat later.

I think with a year or two of serious training in a slight, slight caloric surplus and then a cut, you will look awesome!

    Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!

One more question. What do you recommend for training back and chest? I don't really like doing bent over rows so weighted pull-ups/ chin-ups, one armed db rows, deadlifts/rackpulls? And for chest incline bench and db bench?
