Default Grouping same muscle exercises together or separate

Hey forums, I am relatively new to the gym, and was wondering if grouping all the exercises for a muscle group next to eachother is better or worse than spacing it out with other muscle being worked in between. So say if I have 3 pec exercises and 2 bicep exercises in my programme, is it better to do all the pec exercises then the bicep exercises, or to alternate and do pec - bicep - pec etc. I know it probably sounds better to give your muscle more rest in between exercises, but maybe the additional muscle tearing leads to better results?

    Any help is appreciated

good question, i think its up to the individual.
for me, i prefer to alternate to give the same muscle groups a break in between. it may be my age (60)
