    Default Should I cut or bulk?

    Hi guys,

    22 year old here. I am currently at kind of a crossroads where I want to improve my physique and get reasonably stronger and bigger, but I also have a gut and fear that I might get too fat.

    I have historically dabbled in going to the gym, but it has always been wishy-washy, there have been a few months a few years ago when I did go to the gym 4 times a week, but back then I did not do anything reasonable with nutrition so haven't achieved any interesting results. I also did frequently, yet inconsistently bodyweight training according to the programs on darebee.com, but aside from a period where I lost +- 6 kg i did not achieve any results with that also, mainly because of inconsistency and lack of nutrition.

    Well, I want to change that, and I would love for you guys to help me go in a direction and not second guess what I should be doing. Should I go for mass building or cut first, and what should I focus on?

    why does it have to be one or the other?
    just work out hard & eat healthy to meet your goals
