    Default Question about exercise sets

Hi there. I just got back into the gym a month ago and heard from someone that instead of doing 3-4 sets of one exercise in a row I should do one of each exercise. For example, a set of bicep curl, tricep pulldown, and chest press. I would do all exercise in a row and then rest in between sets. Would this be ideal? I appreciate the help from everyone. Thank you so much and have a wonderful day!

Supersets, can help to perform a workout quicker, but that's all they do, supersets are not better for building muscle than the normal traditional sets method, and make it harder to overload the muscle, which is what building muscle is all about

i think what he is saying is circuiting his weightlifting, not necessarily supersetting. if you are circuiting your weight lifting that could have potential benefits but seems like you'd be hogging a lot of equipment at the gym and people will be mad
