    Default Desperate for advice

    Hi everyone,

    First time poster here. First off, I'd better tell about myself a bit. I'm 29 years old, 5'10" weighing 83kg. I have moobs and fat around my waist and I want to get rid of both.

    I started with Reg Park's 5x5 (three phase) routine about 2 years back but had to stop going to the gym due to some family reasons.

    I want to get back to a routine but for some reason I'm so confused seeing so many different theories now regarding hypertrophy vs strength protocols.

    My goal is to get lean first and then bulk up with muscle.

    Can someone PLEASE help me out with which routine should I follow? What diet should I follow? I am in desperate need of some advice.

    Hi, welcome to the forum, get some cardio everyday, even twice per day for 40 mins at a time if you can, and choose a 4 day split routine form the workouts page, or have a look at the routine in the link below
