Personal elliptical

A question plese. So I purchased a home elliptical for personal use. I didn't have the time so I ordered it to be installed. After the installation I tried it and I experienced a lot of trembles of the main pillar (which of course I felt because the pedals are connected to it). It did bother me, maybe becase I didn't experience it while running an elliptical in the gym. I told to the it to the installer, and he said it is normal and all the personal ellipticals work that way. Is it true or is he bull****ted me? And if yes, is it a fault or is because I bought a mid to low range elliptical?

It really depends on the quality of the machine you purchased. More expensive machines usually have tighter fittings
