I am 61 and just started lifting two months ago.

I am 5'9 and 170 pounds.

I am lifting twice a week:

Squat
Bench

Thursday

Dead

I would like to replace Monday Deadlift with a chin which I can not do but would like to.

I have been told and read conflicting stories on what is best to start out with; Lat Pulldowns or Band Assisted Pull Up.

What is the consensus here?
