It boggles my mind that I see little improvement. Although I increase the total amount of reps (by doing many sets of fewer reps), my first set will always be 11 reps. I also consider worth mentioning that, previously, as a beginner, growing my reps from 3 to 10 was no big deal.
My chin-up work out involves doing sets up to failure, until I reach a total number of reps which I increase with every workout.
Is this normal? Should I change the way I train with chin-ups?
I would appreciate any input.
