Default Must have advice for beginners

    Avoid Junk Food.
Itís true that you want to gain some weight, but you want that weight to be muscle mass and not fat! Consume quality food like lean proteins, complex carbs and healthy fats and stay away from junk food, lots of sweets and fatty foods. The only time when you should consume fast absorbing carbohydrates (usually foods that have a lot of sugar or white flour) is right after your workout. Read more about what to eat to gain muscle in this article.

    Consume Fruits and Vegetables.
Besides macronutrients (proteins, carbs and fats) your body also needs micronutrients (vitamins and minerals). So make sure you consume lots of fruits and vegetables each day!

    Rest and Recover.
Your muscles donít grow when you work out but when you sleep. So make sure you get enough sleep each night (about 8-9 hours).

    I'll add from myself.

Do not worry about lack of time.
On average, training takes 3-4 hours a week, an hour for each lesson. In addition, modern technology combines aerobics and strength training, while requiring only 30 minutes, because then you simply can not withstand this pace. Therefore, boldly sign up in the gym and no longer look for excuses.

    Turn off the phone.

Fitness in the beginning requires willpower, but then it becomes a habit. Chatting with friends or distracting yourself on social networks right in the middle of a workout is far from a good idea, and it certainly will not help to improve your fitness. When practicing in a fitness club, it is better to leave the phone in your locker in the locker room, and during workouts at home - turn off the sound on it.

    Find like-minded people.

Firstly, friends will not allow each other to skip training, and secondly, you will have someone to discuss their problems or achievements related to fitness with.

    Consult with professionals.

It is important to draw up a training program correctly. To do this, meet with the coach, discuss with him all the details, including what result you plan to achieve with the help of sports. It is worth noting that just the first lesson with a personal trainer, most fitness clubs spend for beginners for free.

    Praise yourself.

Imagine that for a month you regularly visited the gym - 3-4 times a week. Of course, you deserve encouragement. Buy for yourself something new from clothing or cosmetics, and even better - if it is something related to sports. For example, cool sneakers.

    Plan.
This may sound boring, but without planning for important matters, there simply may not be time left. Keep a diary and make a schedule ahead of time, including training and other activities, for which you could hardly make time without a schedule. Such a schedule will gradually help you look to the future, and this applies not only to sports.

    Put things in order.
Take care of the correct distribution of your time. Decide what household chores your husband or children will be able to complete. Write down what it takes most of your time. This way it will be easier for you to make time for fitness.

    Have fun.
At first, classes can be given with difficulty, but after 1.5-2 months you begin to like it. The fact is that rapid breathing provokes the production of endorphins, the so-called hormones of happiness. Therefore, after 5-10 minutes of training, you will begin to feel a surge of strength and joy. Note that fitness classes will soon help you become more focused and increase your self-esteem. The main thing - do not give up!

You all forgot about motivation. This is the main thing for the athlete.
