Default How to incorporate Turkish get ups

    Hi.
I am 47 and have been working out for a year or so. I have a routine that I like that includes weight lifting and cardio 3 days a week. Lately I have been reading about Turkish get ups and would line to incorporate them into my routine. I'm just not sure of the best way to do that. Should I just add them to my current routine or should I dedicate some days to just Turkish get ups? Any advice?

I've been looking at them myself.

Basically, Turkish get-ups can be incorporated in the form of a larger kettlebell routine.

Like you, I lift 3 days/week; advice I've received is to throttle lifting back to 2 days/week (for an A/B style program), and then add it a kettlebell/Turkish getup routine 2 days/week (alternating with heavier compound lifts).

Pavel Tatsouline has an excellent kettlebell program with TGUs (at least worth a look on YT.)
