I have gone from eating what I wanted to a pretty strict diet. I am overweight but stay active at my job. I’m 5’8” and weighed today 216.2.

I’m doing the faster way to fat loss diet plan. I track and enter my nutrition in MyFitnessPal. It says I need 1870 calories per day and I do pretty well staying around that number but do have some trouble hitting my protein and carb goals.

So my thought was since doing nothing I would lose early and plateau. However I only lost 2 lbs in week 1 and .2 lbs in week 2. That was a little disappointing but I understand it’s a long goal.

Any ideas? Adding more exercise would obviously help. Could it be a hormone problem? Eating too little?
